Crown Yourself was born from a long series of experiments. A different way of looking at things.
I have always felt slightly impossible to domesticate. Since my twenties, I lived and created inside Berlin’s cultural landscape - working as a transformational designer, community weaver and event host, sometimes restoring historic fabrics and armors. Based in our international studio house Rose Transformation Salon.
In 2006 Dakini Crowns started knocking on my door.

The Shift
Into Simplicity.
And becoming extremely selective.
Chopping Wood - Carrying Water
These times became an initiation of their own -
to find deeper belonging in my being - without the constant output.
My entire life I had been crafting, building things, gathering people.
Carrying resources to various locations, strongly identified with what I could make. And yet, I struggled to contain my energy and offerings, most of the time. And not everything you can make needs to become public.
So I stopped. Cleansed every corner of my life and simplified.
After letting go of the studio with 95% of my costume collections, tons of materials and many people - this was by far not an easy transition.
But it revealed that real transformation doesn´t come from external work,
nor escaping civilization.
It comes from being curious what life has in store for us. When you allow nature to compost and upgrade old stories from the inside out - no matter where you are.

The lightbulb moment:
Withdrawing and waiting isn't necessarily inactivity.
It can be the final stage of real authorship.
And yet:
Creative freedom needs structure.
And somewhere between letting go of the old world and finding my way back into it,
I started to investigate. Still, there was the original dragon living inside of me.

In the stillness. Highly active mentally, but and much less visible to the world. So I listened. With all of my body. Distilling the format, that would finally contain its raw power.
And without knowing exactly what it will be.

Truth is...
In times of transition
life did not remove our gifts.
They just adapted to survive.
Becoming more quiet for a while.
Going underground.
Rooting deeper.
Becoming clearer.
The storm was intense.
Weather changes.
And life finds a way to call you back from your secret island !
Not to repeat old stories. But to start fresh.
2024 - The Return To Civilisation
Back to Germany I picked up the golden thread -
and continued stitching the fabric of life together.
But in this new season from a deeper sense of discernment and inner belonging.
I returned with a new understanding of what I am here to build. And how I am naturally designed to move through this world.
Today I create experiences where people can become more fully themselves, together. Knowing my personal law: Simple is powerful. Nothing good ever comes through force.
Here's what that means for you:
Whenever you get physically in touch with dakini creations,
something interesting starts happening.
They can interrupt the version of yourself you have been masking.
Underneath conformity, or being easier to explain.
You look into the mirror and notice:
Wait… who is arriving here now?
OH HI! The hidden, more surprising YOU. Who was there all along!
This is about seeing yourself reborn, reclaimed, reawakened through the eyes of wonder - with a strangely exotic, sometimes extreme, fragrance of irrational delight.
A form of intimacy with your own energy that can not really be explained.
And when the right conditions are nurtured and composed, the atmosphere is potent and fertile, something powerful begins to unfold - inside and out.
A space of freedom opens, where you encounter more of yourself - without having to abandon your individuality in order to belong.
That moment is real magik.
Because once you start revealing more of your natural spectrum, your presence and frequency can shift the atmosphere of the entire room.
And when a Magik Woman reclaims her crown, the whole world around her begins to bloom âś˝
